They are made in France. The plain parts (including the ribbon) are upcycled (from dormant fabric stock) and the non-plain parts are original watercolors by Marie Meerson printed in France on organic cotton.

You can offer the pouch with the gift or inform the recipient of the gift that you will retrieve it rather than throwing away gift wrap produced under environmentally unfriendly conditions. If the gift is smaller than the pouch, simply fold it and adjust the ribbon that goes around the pouch.
