Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1 – Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) govern the sales concluded between the company Marie Meerson SAS (hereinafter “the Seller”) and any buyer (hereinafter “the Customer”) via the website mariemeerson.com.
Article 2 – Products
The products offered for sale are original artworks (paintings, photographs) and eco‑friendly textiles. Each artwork is unique or produced in a limited series. Product photographs are as accurate as possible, but slight color variations may occur depending on screen settings.
Article 3 – Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT). The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 4 – Order
The order is validated once payment has been confirmed. A confirmation email is sent to the Customer. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in case of stock shortage or payment issue.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is due at the time of ordering. Accepted payment methods are those offered at checkout (credit card, etc.). Transactions are secured.
Article 6 – Shipping and Delivery
Shipping conditions and delivery times are detailed in our [Shipping Policy]. Transport‑related risks are borne by the Customer as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221‑18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without justification. Return costs are borne by the Customer.
Exception: Custom‑made or personalized artworks are excluded from the right of withdrawal (Article L.221‑28 of the French Consumer Code).
Article 8 – Returns and Refunds
The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging. After receipt and inspection, the refund will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method.
Article 9 – Legal Guarantees
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217‑4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Article 10 – Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of the products or from force majeure.

Article 12 – Mediation and Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the Customer may refer the matter to an approved consumer mediator. French law applies. Failing an amicable resolution, French courts shall have jurisdiction.
